what we’re
about

Golden Torch Insights is a qualitative research and strategic advising firm working with nonprofits, associations, and values-led commercial firms. We specialize in the conversations with members, stakeholders, and customers that get to the truth. No 100-slide PowerPoint decks, confusing data dashboards, or jargon-laden findings. Just clear, actionable insights that associations can actually use.

our motto

real direction comes from real conversations

Most association research starts with a survey, maybe a few open-ends, and ends with a spreadsheet. We start with a conversation. Through in-depth interviews and focus groups, we get past polite responses and into what members actually think, feel, and need.

We also design our engagements differently. While most research talks to the most engaged members, we deliberately seek out the disengaged, the fence-sitters, and the non-renewers. If you want to know why membership is flat or why a product isn't selling, those are the people to ask.

our

team

Golden Torch Insights is led by Maureen Rogers PhD, a trained humanities researcher with expertise in qualitative methodology and a low tolerance for unnecessary complexity. After watching associations make expensive decisions based on questionable data, Maureen built Golden Torch Insights around the conviction that the best research is rigorous, clear, and built around the people it's meant to understand. We work primarily with medical societies and healthcare associations, which means we understand your world, your members, and the challenges associations face today. We approach every engagement with good questions, sharp listening, and insights that illuminate the path forward.
